We are excited to announce our upcoming celebration of Lunar New Year! To make this occasion even more special, we have created a new Lunar New Year bulletin board that we would love to fill with photos and creative displays from our school community. We invite all families who celebrate Lunar New Year to share photos of your family's traditions and celebrations. Please email your pictures to kraftd@mpsct.org or message Denise Kraft on Toddle. We can't wait to showcase your family's unique ways of welcoming the new year! For families who may not typically celebrate Lunar New Year, we encourage you to learn about this important cultural holiday at home. Feel free to send in photos of your family exploring Lunar New Year traditions or create something special to add to our bulletin board. This is a wonderful opportunity for our entire school community to come together and learn about diverse cultural celebrations. Both our Grade 5 students and Grade 1 students have been exploring Lunar New Year through their transdisciplinary IB PYP units of inquiry. They are even planning some fun ways to partner with each other to share what they learned. We can't wait to add some of their photos to our display. Let's make our Lunar New Year bulletin board a vibrant display of our school's diversity and cultural appreciation. We look forward to seeing your contributions!
